About
I am a creative heritage interpreter aiming to uncover hidden stories to bring places, objects and ideas to life. I like to connect people with their natural and historic surroundings to deepen understanding and widen horizons, bringing a fresh imaginative approach to interpretation. By looking at the landscape as a whole I can consider the inter-relationships between the geology, natural history and archaeology and build a narrative of an area from prehistory to the present.
An experienced photographer with over 25 years experience of shooting images for both commercial and social clients I have worked in many locations from fluorspar mines to breweries and have an eye for composition and an adaptable style. I have worked all over the country as well as in Europe. Much of my current work shows my love of Britain's industrial and natural heritage
As a qualified archaeologist I enjoy leading groups of all ages on landscape study tours as well as working with education groups, alongside artists on community projects and with local government, charitable and commercial organizations.
